Since I have slightly given up on caring about my blog's current state (and a steady increase of Calculus homework that extends into this weekend, the only weekend that I have off until late April, I might add), I have decided to provide you with some facts about myself that you won't find in the About Me section (that is, until I put it there). Here's a little information about my town. It's not big, it's not powerful, and, most importantly, it's not where I will be living for long. I have received a college admittance letter, so the pressure that I was experiencing has been greatly lessened. Not including my friends and family, what I will miss the most will be Shifter's-Grinders. My mom (and many other observers) has told me that they should let me buy a little stock, because I will try to eat there all the time. So far, I have bought a t-shirt (for a friend), referred over two dozen friends to the restaurant, and stolen locks of all of the employees hair. Okay, so I exaggerated. It was only ONE dozen friends. Alright, now that we have established my habit of compulsively lying, I must bid you farewell until I can better both myself and this blog.
Alright then, see you soon.

Why must life get so busy?
For all two of my current followers, I really appreciate your support. For this, I will post you a video of "Drew Kline." Or, rather, what he's going to grow up to be.
Moral of the story: he's a player with some good moves who gets the girl and happiness in the end, while I am in the group trying to keep everything together behind him. At least I found out that I was accepted into a college, because I was stressing over that this whole year since I forgot to apply to safety schools. I still have a while to wait on the IVY League schools, though. I might not be able to post about it, because if I get in, the news might just be enough to allow me to die happy. Wait. Scratch that. I still haven't had a girlfriend, so that has to happen, too. Don't you just love how life is?
I promise, the next post will be good, even if I have to take a week off to write it. By the way, this week I tried to make up for last week. How did I do? Yeah...I hate it, too.
Alright then, see you soon.

Here's the link that I have decided fits my mood for this week: Feeling alone.
Don't you love it? You do? Great.

Tardiness is not acceptable.
Here are two more things that you should know about me before my next post: I am not very punctual and I am also in show choir. I am not one of the Hollywood Show Choir members *cough* *cough* Glee *cough*. I enjoy the company of women, playing video games with my friends, and television tropes. That last one should be enough to tell you that I am perhaps the most manly person on the planet. In fact, just writing about tropes IS a trope. Wrap your mind around that. It takes someone rough and tough to fully understand that. Right...I'm rambling. I created this blog to pretty much rant (an online journal, if you will) and this is exactly what I am going to do.
My third winter activity is speech. I have been a member from Sophomore year on, and a Thespian member since Freshman year. Again, I am not how Hollywood depicts us. I must say that I do see my fair share of people who fit the description to the letter, but I try not to judge. Speech is really fun because there are so many types of events to choose from. I tend to stick towards the events where I do not have to memorize much (if anything). Not so much for me, but for the rest of the members of my group. This is why I did Reader's Theater in Large Group. Every year, I have been a part of Reader's Theater, and every year, I have loved it. If you ever get the chance to see speech students, I recommend that you watch them. Reader's Theater is my favorite, but I also enjoy One-Act and Improv. Your Mileage May Vary with Improvs because not all people are as good at it as they think. There's a very distinct difference between Will Ferrel improving and that sweaty guy living down the street (not to say that your neighborhood sweaty guy is definitely going to be bad, I'm just saying that the odds are...you know what, if he IS good, write his name and address (email or non) in the comments below and I'll check him out myself.
Yeah, I give up. I am not going to be able to concentrate. I'm tired and I'm just not into it. I am very sorry. I'll make it up to you later.
Alright then, see you soon.

Please tell your friends. As of the time I wrote this, I only have two followers, one of which is myself (it's a long story. I pushed the wrong button.)

As promised...
I told you last week that I would talk about my nemesis "Drew Kline" (my lawyers said I have to use a fake name for him so that he doesn't sue), and that's what I'm going to do. We started out the same way that most of these relationships go, as good friends. In fact, sometimes we even put aside our differences and have fun, which is fairly often seeing as how we have multiple classes together. The only reason we but heads is that he gives in to his temptations while I don't. The worst part is that the longer I let him talk to me, the longer I want to give in. The only thing that keeps me from doing so is that I did once with horrible consequences.
In case you're wondering, no one was physically harmed. It was actually an amazing plan of his, which is why I went along with it. You see, there was a bell that rang during our class that annoyed us everyday. It would be 15 minutes before class was over and it would throw us off from the Pre-calculus we were working on. So, the last day before winter (CHRISTMAS) break, Drew decided to set the clock ahead, since, through some weird coincidences, our teacher left the classroom for a long time. When that bell rang, it was like winter (CHRISTMAS) break had already started. I was overcome with joy. It was going to be the start to a wonderful reconciliation with Drew. Then, I saw my teacher reach for his phone. I just knew he was going to check the time. This is it, I thought. We were caught. Turns out, he didn't care. It was an early winter (CHRISTMAS) break present to us. I was so happy, that I spent the rest of my winter (CHRISTMAS) break humming songs and kissing ladies. Sorry, I exaggerated a little there. I don't hum.
What's that? Right. I'm not finished. So anyway, when we got back, we tried it again, only this time, with a sub. Didn't work out so well. She wasn't in quite the giving mood when she caught us. Perhaps it would have gone better had we not left anyway. That's right, she called us back and we still left. I felt so bad. I don't know why I did it. The worst part was that I got punished immediately the next day, while Drew (conveniently) chose not to show up. When he did, he merely said sorry and sat down in his seat. Oh, and in case it hasn't been clear, Drew and I weren't the only ones in the class...there was a third person, who was too lazy to get up with us the second time, and, therefore, did not suffer the wrath. Since then, I have deeply regretted giving in to temptation and letting Drew trick me. I told myself that I would get him nack one day. And then Drew convinced me not to.
Alright then, see you soon.

(By the way, I love Christmas, and I will always think of the break from mid-December to early January as such.)
Today's lucky numbers are: 2, 19, 36, 92, and Pudding.
Also, check out this hot link if you know what I mean...I sure hope you don't.

Double dose of your weekly fun.
So, we meet again. For those of you who are viewing this long after it is published, this is a bonus for you: the answer is a robot who can make smoothies in a compartment of his "torso." Yeah. Be looking forward to that question.
I'm not the typical blog man. I would much prefer to tell you of my "adventures" live and in person, but that seems to not be the way this works, so I'm just gonna go with it. Ok, so before this new and wonderful year began, I made a t-shirt on ChoiceShirts.com as sort of a "look-at-my-craziness" thing for the jazz band at my school (that's right, I never told you that I am a high school senior...surprise). It was really just to show off some of the things that I had said that didn't seem to make it into the poll that we had for the shirts quotes. Turns out, when my shirt came in, I had created a rather desirable alternative to the shirts that the jazz band is going to order, and I was approached by other members wanting to buy my shirt. Now, I could sell my shirt, but it would lose money for the school, or I could sell the t-shirts through the company myself and not make any money at all. Decisions, decisions.
In our next edition, I'm going to discuss my arch-nemis, "Drew Kline."
Today's "once a blog" link addition is to one of my favorite shows, Leverage, on tvtropes.org: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Leverage.
Alright then, see you soon.

I'm serious. That robot thing is going to come back again.

Not what you think.
Let me tell you right upfront, I am not going to rant and/or rave about a song by the All American Rejects. Sorry. Moving on, my name is Xavier if you haven't seen it wherever it is on my page (if it's even there, I don't know because I haven't actually looked at my page) and I am greatly infatuated with television tropes. That's partly because I hope to one day be a television writer, or, if that doesn't work out, maybe a neurosurgeon. No big deal. So, judging from myself right now, I plan to only post once a week. Occasionally, I will break this rule if something truly interesting happens, or if you ask me to write more a week (like, if my style gets better or something). In fact, I might break this rule already and post again this week since we're just getting to know each other. So check back soon to see if I put up something else (if I haven't already lost you). I leave you for now with two things: one is a television trope that I have been looking at, http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BackToFront (I hope it works, it wouldn't let me copy and paste it in), if you're interested, and the other is a question: Does switching to Geico really save you fifteen minutes or more on car insurance?
Alright then, see you soon.

I would like to take this time right now to apologize to any neurosurgeon taking the time to read my blog (but not to any television writers, because I envy them and I do not plan to give them the satisfaction).
I also want to mention that I had a better version of this blog typed up, but when I went to "publish" it, it deleted, and I was so frustrated that I couldn't do this one with as much justice as I wanted.
Alright then, see you soon.
